Meet Dr. Johnny Hung, DDS

Dr. Johnny Hung was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Toxicology from the University of Toronto, and soon after pursued his lifelong passion for dentistry at the New York University College of Dentistry — one of the largest and most respected dental schools in North America.

Following graduation, Dr. Hung completed a hospital residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital–Queens, where he provided emergency and comprehensive dental care for medically complex patients. During his time in New York, he gained extensive experience in all aspects of dentistry, serving patients from diverse cultural and social backgrounds across the Greater New York area.

Dr. Hung is an active member of the Canadian Dental Association and the Ontario Dental Association. He is committed to ongoing professional development through continuing education and advanced training to ensure his patients receive the most up-to-date and effective treatments. He is also a certified Invisalign® provider, offering modern clear aligner solutions for patients seeking a confident smile.

He takes pride in truly listening to his patients, understanding their goals, and helping them achieve healthy, beautiful smiles with comfort and confidence.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Hung enjoys running, traveling, and spending quality time with his wife and two children.

Dr. Caren Chen

Dr. Kendra Ma

Dr. Caren Chen is a compassionate and dedicated dentist who believes in providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. She completed her undergraduate studies at McMaster University and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto.

Dr. Chen performs a wide range of treatments including fillings, crowns, root canals and extractions. Her gentle approach, attention to detail, and commitment to continuing education ensure that every patient receives high-quality and comfortable dental care.

Outside of the office, Dr. Chen enjoys traveling, photography, and watching movies.

Dr. Kendra Ma completed her Bachelor of Medical Sciences at Western University before deciding to pursue dentistry. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Toronto. Her favorite aspects of dentistry include building relationships with patients and providing them with comprehensive care. Her goal is to ensure patients understand their treatment plan and feel comfortable at the dental office.

Dr. Ma is a member of the Canadian Dental Association and Ontario Dental Association. She is committed to staying up to date with the latest advancements and techniques through various continuing education courses.

In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, photography, and spending time outdoors!

Dr. Sunny Tam

Dr. Sunny Yat Fai Tam (BSc Hon MSc BEd DDS) is a graduate of the Doctor of Dental Surgery program at the University of Toronto. He has been practicing as a general dentist for the past 10 years in Hamilton and the surrounding areas.

He enjoys working with a great team focused on prioritizing the patient experience. He pays particular attention to minimizing pain whenever possible, maximizing comfort, and reducing anxiety for his patients. His compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented approach ensures a calm and relaxed dental experience.

During his studies, he volunteered on a medical mission to China with EMAS Canada, providing dental care to remote villages and underserved areas.

He is fluent in English and Cantonese. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking the trails around Hamilton, gardening, and spending time with his family.
